Another Opportunity to Grow

If you had told me during my freshman year that I would become the Firm Director of a student-led PR agency, I would never have believed it.

Growing up, I was quite reserved and never imagined myself in such a leadership role. But throughout my academic journey, I gradually stepped out of my comfort zone and took on more responsibilities.

In 2020, I became the treasurer for Central’s African Student Association, and in 2021, I landed a secretary position for the Digital Marketing Club. When I joined CCA a year ago, I primarily worked behind the scenes for our then-client Kittitas Valley Healthcare (KVH).

As time passed, I grew more confident and took on more accountability as an Account Executive. Eventually, this winter, I was appointed Firm Director.

My experience in this position has been incredibly rewarding. I am fortunate to work with a talented team of students skilled in strategic communication, social media, video creation, event planning, marketing, and advertising. As a former CCA member, I want to be able to provide guidance and support to new members starting their journey.

I have the pleasure of working with CCA’s incredible Assistant Firm Director, Litzy Rodriguez, and our amazing advisor Dr. Jennifer Green.

I am excited to see where my journey takes me. I want to be able to continuously grow professionally and personally and to embrace challenges that will shape me into the best version of myself.
